About Sandustry Tools

Sandustry Tools is an independent, unofficial reference built to make current Sandustry mechanics easier to trace. It is not operated by Lantto Games or Hooded Horse, and it does not imitate an official game site.

Who maintains this guide

The Sandustry Tools site editor maintains the English and German guides, checks public source documents, reviews translations and handles corrections through the contact address below. We do not have an in-game testing setup. Source review and website testing do not establish that a layout has been playtested.

How facts are approved

Mechanic claims must be supported by the Steam store, official Steam news or the publisher-hosted Sandustry Wiki. Each content page maps to a dated claim in our evidence register. We summarize source text in our own words. Our mechanic diagrams are original illustrations; selected publisher-hosted Wiki images carry source and license credits in the Aura guide.

How advice is labeled

Factory layouts, research priorities and troubleshooting sequences are editorial frameworks derived from verified mechanics. They are not presented as developer-approved optimums. Probability is never converted into a guaranteed batch yield.

Early Access corrections

Sandustry can change during Early Access. If an official update affects a material, building, cost or tool rule, the affected passage needs review. We identify the source, revision or patch, and check date near important answers. The page update date records editing; it does not mean every older claim was rechecked. Community reports can trigger review but do not become facts automatically.
